This Journey from just an ordinary School in a small town to an Institute of Educational Technology has been exhilarating. Journey never ends, not over yet. For us at Vishal Hind Institute, this pious journey will never be over... In fact, this Journey itself is the destination.

Vishal Hind Institute of Educational Technology was created in 1991-92 by the broad vision and toil of Mr. Varinder K. Sharma, an educationist. We had a very warmth beginning with a vision to provide an ideal launch pad for serious aspirants. Along the way to realization of this vision, we went beyond merely teaching of school students. We started to make a difference in the way students think and approach problems. We started to develop ways to enhance Students’ IQ. 

Multiple Choice Questions or the Objective Type Tests are recognized today as an indispensable component of various Competitive examinations conducted by numerous recruiting agencies, such as UPSC, SSC, GIC, LIC, RRB, Banks etc., besides various professional institutes/agencies, like, JET, JEE, CET, NEET, PMT, IMA, CDS, NDA, NCHMCT etc. spread across the country.  Before recruiting aspirants, these agencies and the institutes attach special significance to test their general awareness level, which precisely implies their understanding of day-to-day happenings, facts and information related to diverse sphere of knowledge.

Considering the need of the hour, we decided to train the budding students to habituate, grow into and familiarize themselves in such a way that in this early stage, they should feel as if they are sitting in a prestigious competitive exam. Moreover, while setting Question Paper, we keep in our mind the psyche and IQ level of school going children and ask them to reply spontaneously and unaffectedly.   

We started changing lives. And all this was not a sheer coincidence. It was the urge, the compelling desire, to always aspire for perfection and in the process, continuously keep on setting newer benchmarks of excellence, which enabled us to conduct National Talent Search Contests among the school going children. To make these contests more interesting and to create the spirit of competition among the school going students, we choose top talented and deserving students on national level and award them scholarships and other cash prizes with beautiful certificates.

The aim of conducting such contests is to create interest among the students of different age groups towards educational, cultural, scientific, historical and other allied fields, as such to prepare them to participate in different competitive exams, like NDA, JET, CET, PMT, JEE Advanced, JEE Main, Olympiads, BITSAT, KVPY, NTSE, UPSC, RRB, BANKS etc. We inculcate in them reading habits to keep them abreast of the latest development achieved in these fields, use library facilities provided by their schools, as well as, information provided by internet, television, magazines, and newspapers and help them to engage themselves in self education.
